Review of Vanishing Point (1971) by Wayde N — 31 Jul 2008
Much more than a car chase movie, this is a story of a pawn on a chessboard driven by forces that he can't control. This film has everything... a blind DJ, a snake catcher, druggie bikers, naked desert women, the angel of death (my favorite part), a hemi challenger, and a druggie at the wheel.
Keep in mind that the director was on meth for the whole shoot. In my opionion, this film kicks the shit out of Bullitt.
