Stephen Sommers is definitely not a filmmaker I would recommend. I don't think many people would. In this cluttered and hammy blockbuster, there is little coherence and any attempt at character or story.

Hugh Jackman does his best in a role that requires little and the action is spectacular but it is highly overshadowed by a juvenile story and a laughable script.
