Review of Vampire's Kiss (1989) by Jurell D — 19 Jan 2012
If you have a twisted sense of humor, this is a must-see. Nicolas Cage's performance is the stuff of cinematic legend. You know a movie rules when a character puts a gun in his mouth, pulls the trigger, and it's hysterically funny rather than horrific.
If the sight of a delusional Nicolas Cage babbling to a wall for ten minutes strikes you as inspired humor, track this movie down. A criminally forgotten masterpiece of bizarre, dark comedy.
