Review of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2001) by Sarah K — 06 Nov 2009
Hands down best anime, and likely one of the best vampire movies ever made. It is bloody, grim and oddly sensual, and keeps in tone quite well with the overall novel series. The books are even better, but the movie has it's own beauty.
Most tend to agree that this anime is the height of awesome...if I end up loaning it somebody I NEVER get it back.
