Review of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2001) by Ryan V — 22 Mar 2012
This sequel once again focuses on a vampire slayer working his trade in a distant and nightmarish future. His case for this movie involves a rich little girl who is kidnapped by one of the undead. His quest to rescue her is told with astonishingly wonderful animation and a pace that flirts with breakneck speed.
The plot is as basic as the first film, but anime fans will find this to be a satisfactory sample of Japanese horror.
