Review of V/H/S/2 (2013) by Hayden H — 20 Jun 2013
Now not all horror sequels or even sequels in general amount to what the original brings to the table, but for this certain horror sequel, V/H/S 2 may be one of the craziest, bloodiest, fearsome, and certainly entertaining horror movie in awhile.
Segments like "Safe Haven" or "Alien Abduction Slumber Party" are the films best features as the film somewhat lacked from what I excepted, the first two segments are probably the weak points of the film as the first one, tho had its scares, was not fully cooked and then the second one from the Blair Witch creators is the biggest disappointment as this was the first time since Blair Witch that they team up again.
Luckily, I found it all interesting and made me wonder more about the story within the reason for the video tapes. But in the end, it leaves you like the last one, scared and waiting to see what's next.
"B+" is the final grade with a recommendation to see this on VOD or in theaters in July.
