Review of V/H/S/2 (2013) by Eytan D — 07 May 2014
The first "V/H/S" was a disappointingly uneven mixed bag that didn't manage to create an efficient enough anthology of stories. The good news is "V/H/S/2" is much better than the original because it's more evened out, every story is equally as freaky and gruesome as the other, it's devilishly gory, and the ideas behind each piece are original enough to actually induce some shivers and scares.
I do believe that the found footage subgenre is tired out, but if you're looking for something solid, "V/H/S/2" satisfies.
