"REMEMBER, REMEMBER, THE FIFTH OF NOVEMBER".

- 'V for Vendetta' is a 2006 action film written by the Wachowski brothers (The Matrix Trilogy) and based on the popular graphical novel by Alan Moore (Hell Boy) and David Lloyd. The movie feels like a superhero movie with a political undertone and has a very interesting storyline with likeable twists. The mask of 'V' is fantastic! The very talented cast consists of Hugo Weaving (The Matrix Trilogy, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy), Nathalie Portman (Black Swan, Star Wars Prequels) and John Hurt (Alien, The Elephant Man). Put on your mask and join the rebellion...

In a not so distant future, Great Britain is a fascistic state ruled by High Chancellor Adam Sutler (Hurt). Under his regime, political opponents and homosexuals are taken to a concentration camp. On the 5th of November, Evey Hammond (Portman), who works for the British Television, is out after curfew and gets harassed by the secret police in an alley. She is saved by a masked freedom fighter, who kills the men with his daggers, and introduces himself to Evey as 'V' (Weaving). He takes her to the rooftop of a building, where she watches his theatrical destruction of the Old Bailey, the British Criminal Courthouse.

Shortly after that, 'V' infiltrates the television studios where Evey works, to broadcast a message: he urges the people of Britain to rise up and bring the government down. One year from now, on the 5th of November he wants them to gather in front of the Houses of Parliament and witness the destruction of the building. While he tries to escape from the TV studios, he gets the help of Evey. Will the people join him on his rebellious quest?
