Review of V for Vendetta (2006) by Narrative M — 29 Aug 2018
Watch this if: Dystopian political thrillers with a hint of fantasy and comic book vaneer are your thing.
Written by the Wachowski sisters, V For Vendetta is a story of war against political oppression and it feels excitingly subversive. Real life anarchists have been holding Vendetta as a symbol of their activism ever since it hit theaters in 2006. We were particularly excited by Natalie Portman's performance. She holds her own in this dark, sinister thrill ride. It left us with a dizzying feeling of excitement and possibility for a new future.
