V for Vendetta may very well be the greatest comic book movie of all time. It's not about anarchy or any other political ideology; V for Vendetta is a character study and an advertisement for passion.
Hugo Weaving gives the best performance anyone can ever give under a mask who is just so amusing and his charisma is infectious. The awesome visual tone and style suits the film's intricate and complex plot perfectly.
Taking place in dystopian London, V For Vendetta spans an entire year where a terrorist known as V plots to overthrow the totalitarian government. The plot is paced really well and reveals a minor plot twist after another without overkill.
Stylish,meticulously crafted, and honest; V For Vendetta is great.
