Review of Upgrade (2018) by Jess_Hill — 16 Jun 2018
A unique visual aesthetic combined with some astonishingly visceral violence makes for a compelling action film that is both fun and disturbing. Whilst the pacing is more tempered than I was expecting, the set design and cinematography are accomplished, and the performances are solid all round.
An enjoyable science fiction bloodbath well worth your time. 8.
