It's pretty been there done that in terms of someone receiving superhuman/cyborg abilities after being seriously injured/beaten. And while it does have its cool and interesting moments, I simply felt it to be a bit too generic for my liking and the ending felt like a rather rushed copout to me.
Overall, like I said, some cool moments and fun to be had, but not really enough to help it stand out from other similar films.
