Clooney is his usual dapper and dependable self in Up in the Air. His nuanced performance as a corporate jet-setter is further confirmation that he's one of the few iconic film stars.
Up in the Air is well written and well directed, but the dramedy never attains greatness. It's the kind of film you enjoy watching once and never feel the need to watch it again.
