Review of Unknown (2015) by Jami L — 20 Mar 2009
Imagine waking up in an abandoned warehouse, not knowing who you are, or having any idea of how you got there. Trapped - with no exit. This is the case for the five strangers in this movie - Jim Caviezel, Greg Kinnear, Joe Pantoliano, Jeremy Sisto, and Barry Pepper.
Beaten, tied up, and even shot. They have to race against time, to try and figure out who is who and how they got there, before the bad guys show back up.
Unknown is a very aptly named film. With the twists and turns this movie takes, you are never very sure what exactly is going on, even at the last second. I will give credit to director Simon Brand for keeping the audience guessing.
I enjoy a good action/suspense film, so I found myself getting some enjoyment out of Unknown. It wasn't the most Oscar worthy I have seen, but it was entertaining.
