Review of Unknown (1972) by L J — 05 Oct 2007
The (faintly-ridiculous) basic premise of this reminded me of an old Twilight Zone episode (don't ask me which - it was a long time ago (I may even have dreamt it!)), but it has a really good cast (I like Barry Pepper more with every film I see him in, I think) and is watchable enough. Once. I can't see how it would stand up to repeated viewings as it doesn't really have a story, as such - just a premise.
So there you have it: a premise without a story. And ultimately, probably more rewarding for the actors than the viewer. Still worth a look, mind.
