Review of Underwater (2020) by Mda — 19 Oct 2020
A movie full of cliches adapted to the new political correctness trend. Kristen Stewart which again didn’t disappointed and maintained the same expressiveness as a wooden board as all of her acting roles before, tried to mimic Sigourney Weaver‘s style and performance from Alien and of course failed at the very best.
This is a movie to watch when you’ve finished all the available options including Adam Sandler’s pseudo-comedies. Apart from Vincent Cassel, the next actor that really made an impression was the underwater monster.
It is what it is but by far not a great movie or cast, the only thing that saved this movie not to be closed after 15 minutes of play was the VFX, not spectacular but acceptable.
