What a MISERABLE flick! Granted, Finney is excellent as a drunk determined to self-destruct, but he's CONSTANTLY drunk, showing no signs of redemption, and the attempts of Bisset's and Andrews' characters to save him are all but laughable.
I sure hope the book was better...
