Review of Under Suspicion (2000) by Red L — 05 Mar 2009
Leading up to the final half hour this was a very well paced entertaining who-done-it? The end though felt rushed and no where near as good as the start. The acting was amazing (obviously because of Hackman and Freeman) but the payoff was just so disapointing the film left a bitter taste in my mouth.
It is enjoyable, I just wonder how amazing the film could have been if the last thirty minutes were better. Don't get me wrong the end has some good parts its just a sudden out-of-the air twist (I don't want to spoil the film so I'll leave it at that) is done so poorly that it detracts greatly.
