Review of Un Chien Andalou (1929) by Ivan D — 14 Oct 2008
Luis Bunuel, teamed up with surrealist Salvador Dali to make this film of "bizarre proportions". The images shown was like segments taken away from a person's dream, and collectively placed into a celluloid film.
For people like me who enjoys surreal films, this is certainly a must-see. My only problem with the film is the music, it is like from the era's silent comedies, which makes the film a little silly, considering its serious nature.
The eye-cutting scene is pure cinematic gold.
