Review of Un Chien Andalou (1929) by Sergio M — 08 Jul 2010

This film never ceases to amaze me. I quite simply love it. I love the symbols, the 'story', the way it's filmed, everything. I just watched it again last night, as part of a special event that included 'trip to the moon', lorca's lost script for the big screen.

I actually like the script itself, but the film wasn't made until 1998, and it was far too 90s at times, all those filters and morphing. and couldn't help thinking it would have been so much better had it been made in the 30s.

but still good to have the opportunity to watch it!
