Review of Un Chien Andalou (1929) by James K — 28 Feb 2011
A bizarre, but yet intriguing, film collaboration between surrealist Salvador Dali and Luis Bunuel. Made in 1929, the movie contains famous shots- foremost of which is the slitting of the eyeball. People try to apply some type of rational interpretation to this piece.
My guess is...there is no interpretation. Nothing makes sense as far as traditional plot wise so just kick back and appreciate.
