Review of Un Chien Andalou (1929) by Tommy H — 18 Apr 2015
The film is meant to shock and amuse with absurdist humor. In years to come it would become a gimmick, but in 1929 it was brave and innovative. The historical significance of the film is its most endearing feature.
An oddity in the pioneering days of horror and surrealist cinema.
