Review of Un Chien Andalou (1929) by Pedro R — 10 Apr 2010
Eyes being slized with a razor blade, ants coming out of a wound, dead donkeys and priests inside of a piano, who says life has a meaning???
The main trouble in modern society is that we have to explain EVERYTHING! If you kill the mystery of life there is no porpouse in carry on our lives, mystery has to be something that will allways had to predure during the existing of mankind.
This is with no doubt the truly piece of avant-garde art that exists in cinema! Long live dreams(especially the nightmares), long live imagination, long live SURREALISM!
Exterminate all rational tought! : William S. Burroughs.
There is no god but Bunuel is GOD!
