Review of Umberto D. (1952) by J'onn J — 23 Jan 2011
A very powerful film, just as heartbreaking as "Bicycle Thieves", matched with great acting, great cinematography and a simplistic story matched with an unfortunately fitting end. It affects the viewer in ways that you wouldn't expect.
Sure, the pacing is a bit off and there are loose ends, but this film is still good and well done.
