Review of Ultramarines: A Warhammer 40,000 Movie (2010) by Ellen G — 15 Jan 2011
A full CGI movie from Games Workshop set in the gothic far-future of their Warhammer 40,000 universe. Visually it captures the unrelenting grimness pretty well but Dan Abnetts limp plot and daft script is alternately growled and muttered by a voice cast who should do better.
If you spent your teenage years pushing two inch scale Space Marines around a table then you'll probably want to take a look out of curiosity but anyone new to 40K is unlikely to be impressed.
