Review of U-571 (2000) by Kenneth L — 16 Aug 2008
This is a good summer action movie. It takes itself more seriously than most films of this kind, which is a big plus. But, it stops shorts of taking itself too seriously. This was a good decision because this movie would fail as a "realistic" portrayal of WWII submarine life.
Rather, it settles for just being a solid action movie.
