Review of U-571 (2000) by Kyle M — 20 Apr 2009
A good story with decent acting puts this movie in the top half of war movies that I've seen. It did have me a little confused why they seemed to have completed their mission within an hour of running time, but the resulting tale of passion, bravery and dedication makes this movie worth the watch.
The jury's still out if McConaughey could pull this role off by himself, but with the assembled cast, it works.
