Review of Two-Lane Blacktop (1971) by Lenny N — 08 Jul 2008
In one scene, Warren Oates begins to unburden himself to James Taylor. And James Taylor turns to Warren Oates and says, "I don't want to hear it, man." And all is silence. That is this movie, then, where there is everything to say and nothing can be said.
But the engines roar against the sky, and the film burns up in the camera.
