Review of Two-Lane Blacktop (1971) by Daniel M — 09 Feb 2009
Marvellous, sublime... drifters with a hobby... interesting subtle observations of character interplay, how relationships and actions shift around the introduction of 'The Girl' into their midst.
.. and even relates to questions of masculinity and 'what it's all about'. Against a background of some cool cars, music and scenes.... One of those films you'll still subtly be mulling over for weeks afterward.
