I had just finished high school, and two years away from meeting and falling in love with the woman who would become my wife, when this beguiling film came out. When I've revisited it over the years, each time I come away with another epiphany about what it means to be married.
(I still hate what happened to their old MG, though. That scene nearly brings me to tears.).
