Review of Twisted (2004) by Kristie H — 06 Jan 2010

I was disappointed with this film--it was predictable from the get-go and seemes "hokey". Andy Garcia's performance was wonderfully dark and 'twisted', but that might be its only redeeming element.

For being a crim-drama/thriller, there was a surprising lack of dramatic cinematography and lighting. There were also some inconsistencies in the writing (such as scenes with no follow-up). The film was too formulaic to have any suspense in it.
