Review of The Brothers Karamazov (1958) by Kristie H — 09 Jul 2010

I read the book a couple of years ago (and didn't really like it), but the movie wasn't much of an improvement on the book. The biggest problem I had with the book was that it was way too slow, and the film had the same problem (with some actors literally speaking slowly).

Yul Brynner is fascinating to watch, but that's about the only highlight.
