Some of the imagery and ideas in this movie are lynch's best. It's very bleak and watchable despite the whole plot being known to anyone who watched twin peaks I thought first of all the movie really suffered by agent cooper having such a little role and donna being replaced, but I think if anything it the movie spent too long on laura.
still brilliant though.
