Review of Turbo Kid (2015) by Jack P — 02 Feb 2016

Wow.

That's really the only thing I said as the credits started rolling. I came into the movie expecting a comedy similar to "Kung Fury" but left feeling something so much different. There is definitely a lot of comedy but it has so much more emotion than I thought there would be. The practical effects were spot on to make the gore exaggerated and I loved that. Acting was perfect for this type of movie and the dialogue was amazing, especially towards the end.

Overall, it's one of my favorite movies. It is similar to Mad Max but also different in a lot of ways. I would definitely recommend watching on Netflix whenever you have some free time. You won't be disappointed.
