Imaginative, low budget, and insanely gory little thriller filled with fan service for fans of, say, Mega Man, Mad Max, and / or Zardoz. Doesn't insist too hard upon itself, but also doesn't really do anything terribly interesting from a narrative or cinematic perspective.
Ultimately, Turbo Kid is just fine, and really nothing more.
