Review of Tsotsi (2005) by Eddie K — 11 Sep 2007
Not what I was expecting, odd given the amount I had read about it. I loved the look of the film lots of orange/peachy forbidding skies and shanti-town panoramas. The acting was great and the characters believable.
'Life is cheap' is a cliche but in some parts of the world unfortunately it s very much the case. It was good to watch the alternate endings. We had different favourites. Well worth a watch.
