Review of Tsotsi (2005) by Margarita S — 12 Jul 2011
A compelling story about the human spirit. Although the plot wasnâ(TM)t especially complex or terribly original, the casting was solid. Presley Chweneyagae was convincing as Tsotsi, a complicated young man who ends up on the wrong side of the tracks.
His pendulum swinging emotions â"brutality to sensitivity to lost soul â" is gripping. Fantastic soundrack.
