Review of Tsotsi (2005) by Bukit R — 07 Jul 2008
Bold, simple and real. It reminds me of City of God, however, this one is so much better since it is not only related to violence, but love to a child as well. Great acting from all cast and great directed by Gavin Hood.
The feeling I got from watching this is that crime comes from poverty but surely cannot beat the love that already embedded in each individual. They deserve their oscar for the best foreign film even though it's a low budgeted movie.
You need to watch this guys, low budget but great.
