Review of Tsotsi (2005) by Martin Y — 01 May 2009
A powerful, intense, and compelling movie. Some scenes are almost too hard to watch. Full of raw emotion, this is a gritty story of redemption in South Africa. lots of great acting. The soundtrack is excellent, with lots of Kwaito style songs.
This movie won the Academy Award for Foreign Language Film at the 78th Academy Awards in 2006.
