Review of True Romance (1993) by Ben F — 07 Nov 2014
Underrated and few bring this up when discussing Tarantino. Even without his direction, his script is truly unreal - the entire thing plays out as a sort of surrealism. A bizarre Hans Zimmer score makes it even stranger.
Also a pivitol role for James Gandolfini, one that made Tony Soprano possible.
