Review of True Romance (1993) by Daniel D — 07 Dec 2014
I really love Terrence Malick's Badlands and I am obsessed with Mr. Tarantino so this film was quite the perfect match. The real star of the movie is Rosanna Arquette, Slater is good but Arquette is the show stopper.
Cameos are like Altman's "The Player" they come and go but not before leaving behind some pretty brilliant performances. The story is old fashion as they come, thieves on the run, yet still wonderfully told and a really fun movie to enjoy.
Quite possibly Scott's best film, thanks to Tarantino.
