(1994) True Lies.
ACTION/ COMEDY.
Arnold Schwartzenegger as an undercover spy agent going against professional terrorist who eventually succeeds in kidknapping his daughter! Jamie Lee Curtis also stars as the unsuspecting housewife!
Too pretentious and somewhat self indulgent action film marred with few action sequences which does not look right when he does it such as the bathroom action sequence! And the reason is, that because Arnold is physically strong- that their wasn't enough or doesn't showcase any action scenes where his weight lifting was ever needed throughout!
The other thing that is annoying is that the often screaming Eliza Dushkuv is extremely weak in terms of character development- that no other character except for the terrorist around the two central characters seem to be clueless and narrow minded! Budget is high and the action is slightly entertaining helped this unusual Arnold action flick get a pass, regardless of it's problems!
