I'd rather watch an old classic film than a newer one almost any time. I had heard about this one a lot and decided to check it out. I didn't like it at all... it was snooty! I'm all for snappy dialogue and a good story line, which I guess this one has, but it's just too snooty for me.
The dialect of the stale acting was overwhelmingly snooty, and I began to be bored within 20 minutes. Give me "Gilda," Double Indemnity," or something less snooty, please.
