Review of Trouble in Paradise (1932) by Nate W — 14 Oct 2009
Ernst Lubitsch brought a wonderful intangible quality to all his films (known as the "Lubitsch Touch"), and it's apparent in this sophisticated comedy about a couple of amorous jewel thieves whose latest heist puts them in a sticky love triangle.
Rife with comedy of mannerism and sly sexual innuendo, "Trouble in Paradise" is a delight.
