Review of Trouble Every Day (2001) by Justin L — 17 Feb 2008
Disturbing, claustrophobic and at times really hard to watch. Claire Denis does not hold back at all here and creates some of the most gut wrenching sequences of recent memory. The film has an incredible look to it that really helps pull this off and creates a rather dreadful atmosphere.
Definitely not for the squeamish or prude (or even those with short attention spans) but for patient and daring viewers this could be rather rewarding.
