Review of Tremors II: Aftershocks (1996) by Jeremy H — 16 Jul 2014
A smaller budget and a direct-to-video release didn't stop the filmmakers from turning out a sequel just about on par with the original. Fred Ward and Michael Gross take the reins admirably as the returning characters and newfound leads.
The graboids are back en masse and even in a new form. CGI enters the picture, but only when responsible and paired with excellent animatronics. The script isn't quite as snappy as the first, but it's still a fun, often funny and thrilling ride.
