Review of Tremors (1990) by Russell H — 29 Apr 2014
Tremors is a fantastic B-Movie about giant underground worms attacking locals from a small town in the middle of a desert. Tremors is a very enjoyable Sci-fi horror and is a great tribute to the low budget Sci-Fi horror films of the 50s.
Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward star as two small-town handymen that happen upon a couple of people who have died in extremely peculiar circumstances. Tremors is basically Jaws on land, an impressive film that benefits from hints of comedy and pulls it off superbly.
A good cast, with a great storyline and humorous narrative, Tremors is an enjoyable film that is considered a modern classic among Sci-Fi Comedy Horrors.
