Review of Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) by James I — 20 Aug 2016

Nosferatu:phantom der nacht is a west german horror film based on bram stokers classic novel dracula it is more of a homage than a remake of fw murnau's 1922 silent classic nosferatu symphonie of terror it is unique and has a rare exinct type of horror within its techniqes much like halloween did it has an exellent performance by klaus kinski and the use of music is wonderful as is werner herzog's visual direction it sets the right tone because it is gothic horror and has really creepy settings.
