A beautifully spare movie. kims commitment to minimalism and the shots that she and her dp can create make this film work. its similar to another japanese film from a few years ago called nobody knows (also a good film) concerning plot, but the style is all its own.
if for no other reason, this film should be seen for its visual appeal.
