This is a wonderful movie, a journey both spiritual and physical. Norbu does a masterful job of weaving the parallel stories together into a beautiful fabric. His previous release Phörpa (The Cup) (1999) is also worth seeing.
A more linear story and an allegory for how Bhutan, a very isolated kingdom, is being brought into the modern age.
